Don’t go to sleep without saying these four things.

The Bible gives us some incredible wisdom on how to end our day right. Let’s dive into four powerful things you should say before bed. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this.

Number one, thank you, God. Start with gratitude. Psalm 118, one says, give thanks to the Lord for he is good. His love endures forever. Before you close your eyes, Take a moment to thank God for his blessings. No matter how tough your day was, there’s always something to be grateful for. Count your blessings and watch your heart fill with peace.

Number two, forgive me, Lord. Acknowledge your shortcomings. First John 1.9 reminds us, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Ask God for forgiveness for anything you may have done wrong during the day. This not only cleanses your spirit, but also helps you sleep with a clear conscience.

Number three. Protect us, Father. Seek God’s protection. Psalm 4.8 says, In peace I will lie down and sleep. For you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Pray for God’s protection over you and your loved ones through the night. Trust that he will guard your home and keep you safe from all harm.

Number four, guide me tomorrow, Lord. Surrender your plans. Proverbs 3.6 instructs us, In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Ask God to guide your steps for the next day. Surrender your worries and plans into his hands, trusting that he will lead you in the right direction.
So, don’t hit the pillow without saying these four things. They’ll transform your nights and set you up for a blessed day ahead. Remember, God’s got you covered from dusk till dawn. Drop an amen if you agree and pass this to someone who needs it. God bless.
