The blessings of God are like an immense tank of pure and fresh water. A malicious person will only need a small quantity of a bad chemical to render all the water in that reservoir unusable. This is the reason why water reservoirs supplying big cities are heavily guarded.
In this article I share with you six small sins that will destroy your reservoir of great divine blessings.
A single act of anger.
Anger opens doors for the devil to come and rob your great heavenly blessings. Satan and demons are always waiting for an opportunity for you to become angry so that they steal your blessings.
A single act of fornication.
Secondly, a one time act of fornication may look small in your eyes, but the devil can use it to rob you of great divine blessings.
This single act of fornication can deprive you of divine blessings equivalent to the value of all buildings and other properties on Manhattan Island.
A single act of pride or arrogance.
Furthermore, the devil can use a single act of pride or arrogance to steal your great divine blessings. This is exactly what happened to King Nebuchadnezzar when he once said these boastful words:
Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?
Daniel 4:30
Before he finished saying those words of pride and arrogance, a voice came from heaven and told him like this:
This is what is decreed for you, King Nebuchadnezzar:
Your royal authority has been taken from you.
You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals;
you will eat grass like the ox.
Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes.
Daniel 4:31-32
Refusing to forgive.
In addition, if you refuse to forgive, you are giving permission to the devil to intercept and steal your great divine blessings.
Refusing to pray.
Many times Heavenly Father wakes up some people to pray because he has seen the devil wanting to steal their great divine blessings. Unfortunately many people fail to pray and for this reason forfeit their divine blessings.
Refusing to repent.
Of equal importance, if you refuse to repent of your sins, the devil can rob you of your great divine blessings.
Protect your reservoir of heavenly blessings.
Just as municipal fresh water reservoirs are heavily guarded to prevent sabotage, every Christian must heavily guard their heavenly blessings by keeping themselves clear of sin.
