1. Prophecy.
Many years ago, I was a confused Christian because I didn’t know what God wanted me to do. For this reason I always sat at the back of the church congregation.
Then, one day during the main Sunday service a visiting preacher began to prophesy. Suddenly he pointed his finger at the direction where I was sitting. Since I was far from the pulpit, I thought he was pointing at my neighbor. However, he stressed to the whole church congregation that he was pointing at me.
Then he said these words:
You man, God is showing me that He will use you greatly in the future. I don’t know exactly what he wants you to do, but I see you with a pen writing, and writing, and writing…
In fact, this prophecy was a hundred percent accurate, and I have lived to see it come true.
2. Dreams and visions.
Second, God will speak to you in dreams and visions if He wants to use you greatly in the future. Many years ago, I was a confused Christian. Then one night I had a strange dream. In this dream, I saw the president of a country standing in a large stadium with about 100,000 people.
Interestingly, out of all these people, he had chosen about fourteen and assigned them special seats near where he was standing. I was among those fourteen.
When I woke up from this dream, I realized that God had a special work for me in the future. Many years later, this dream has come to pass.
God will speak to you in dreams and visions.
3. Special Bible verses.
Third, if God intends to use greatly in future, he will highlight to you special Bible verses relevant to your mission. Many years ago I was a confused Christian. Then, one day I opened the Bible randomly and this Scripture suddenly jumped out of the Bible into my eyes! It was Isaiah 2:2-3.
It said:
2 In the last days
the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established
as the highest of the mountains;
it will be exalted above the hills,
and all nations will stream to it.
3 Many peoples will come and say,
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the temple of the God of Jacob.
He will teach us his ways,
so that we may walk in his paths.”
The law will go out from Zion,
the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
Isaiah 2:2-3
Later I realised that this Scripture made a lot of sense to me.
4. You will survive death.
Fourth, if you have survived multiple deaths, know for sure that God has a special purpose for you. As for me, I can’t count the number of times I’ve survived death.
Amazingly, God our Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit saved my life because they know I have much work to do in the Kingdom of God.
