The Bible contains many healing verses that provide comfort, hope, and encouragement during times of physical, emotional, or spiritual distress. Here are some of the most well-known and comforting healing verses.
1 Jeremiah 30, 17 but will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord.
2 Psalm 103.2.3 Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.
3 Isaiah 41.10 So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you.
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
4 Psalm 147, 3 NIV. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
5, James 5, 14, 15. Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well. The Lord will raise them up.
6 Proverbs 17 to 22. A cheerful heart is good medicine. but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. He said, If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in His eyes, if you pay attention to His commands and keep all His decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals you.
The Lord sustains them on their sickbed, and restores them from their bed of illness.
9. Matthew 11.28.30 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. 1
10. Isaiah 53.5 but he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
