Five things Jesus never said that people believe.

Let’s clear up some common misconceptions about what Jesus actually said. Here are five things people often believe Jesus said, but he never did. Stay tuned for the truth.

Number one, follow your heart. Jesus never said, follow your heart. He said, follow me, because the heart can be deceitful. Jeremiah 17 to 9 reminds us that The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can understand it?

Number two, be true to yourself. Jesus never said, be true to yourself. Instead, he said, whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves, take up their cross and follow me. Matthew 16, 24. It’s about self-denial, not self-indulgence.

Number three, believe in yourself. Jesus never said, Believe in yourself.
He said, Believe in me. I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me. John 14.6 Our faith should be in him, not in ourselves.

Number 4. Live your truth. Jesus never said, Live your truth. When Pontius Pilate questioned him about truth, Jesus said, I am the truth, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. John. Jesus is the truth that sets us free.

Number 5. As long as you are happy, that’s all that matters. Jesus never said, As long as you are happy, that’s all that matters. He said, What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?
Matthew 16.26

Our soul’s salvation is far more important and temporary happiness. Remember, Jesus’ words guide us towards eternal truth and salvation. Drop an amen if you have God in your heart. Leave us a follow for more videos. God bless.
