Three doors the devil uses to enter your home.
Your home is meant to be a sanctuary of peace and love, but did you know the devil has three key ways to disrupt that harmony? Let’s lock these doors tight. Door number one, unforgiveness. Holding grudges cracks open your door wide to negativity. Ephesians 4, 26, 27 says, “‘Do not let the sun go down on your anger “‘because it gives the devil a foothold.'” Forgive quickly and shut this door firmly.
Door number two, fear and doubt. Fear lets the devil whisper lies into our home. 2 Timothy 1.7 reminds us, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Seal this door with faith and trust in God’s promises.
Door number three, disobedience and sin. Living in sin is like rolling out the red carpet for negative influences. 1 Peter 5.8 warns, Be sober, be vigilant. Live in obedience to God and keep this door locked. Awareness is the first step. Every day, choose to fortify your spiritual home through forgiveness, faith, and obedience.
