What happens when you pass?
In the pages of the Bible a tapestry of promises and revelations unfolds, telling us of a journey not to be feared but embraced with hope and faith. For it is written, For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain. Philippians 1.21 This isn’t just poetry. It’s a declaration of an eternal truth that our souls, entwined with faith, have a destination far beyond the physical restrictions of this world. The moment we pass, we step into the presence of God, an experience so profound, words scarcely capture its essence.
And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12.7 Imagine, in the blink of an eye, being enveloped in absolute love, a love so powerful.
it transcends our earthly understanding. But what about judgment? Yes, the Bible speaks of this too. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
Hebrews 9.27 Here our lives, our choices, are held up to the light of God’s truth. Yet for those who have embraced faith, who have accepted Jesus as their Savior, this judgment is not to be feared. Instead, It’s the final step before entering an eternity where no pain, no grief, nor tears can touch us. A place where joy is not fleeting, but everlasting. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. And there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain. For the former things are passed away.
Revelation 21.4 So, for you watching… feeling the weight of the world, remember this. Life is but a journey, and death is not the end, but a transition to something far more beautiful. We are travelers on a path leading to an eternal home, a place prepared for us by Jesus himself. In my Father’s house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14.2 Let this knowledge fill you with hope. Let it inspire you to live a life of love, of faith, of service. For in doing so, we prepare not just for the life to come, but enrich the lives of those around us, making every moment on this earth count.
Drop an amen if you agree with me, and pass this to someone who needs it. God bless.
