Does God forgive all?
The Bible tells us in 1 John 1-9, if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. This means no matter what you’ve done, if you come to God with a sincere heart, seeking forgiveness, He promises to wipe the slate clean. Isn’t that amazing? But wait, there’s more.
In the story of the prodigal son, Luke 15, 11-32, Jesus shows us a powerful example of God’s limitless forgiveness. When the son who squandered his father’s wealth returns home, expecting judgment, his father runs to him with open arms and throws a feast to celebrate his return. This story isn’t just about the son.
It’s about all of us and how God celebrates when we come back to him
no matter how far we’ve strayed. And let’s not forget Jesus’ words on the cross. In Luke 23, 34, he says, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. Even in his most painful moment, Jesus asked for forgiveness for those who wronged him. If he can forgive, then surely he extends that same grace to us.
So does God forgive all? The Bible says yes, His love and mercy are boundless, and He’s always ready to welcome you back with open arms. If you need forgiveness, just ask. If you’ve received His forgiveness, live in the joy and freedom it brings. Share this message with someone who needs to hear it today, and let’s spread God’s incredible love together. Type Amen if you believe in God’s endless forgiveness.
God bless.
